There was some code which went in to support PMAs which don't support
the AllPortSelect option. Patches were sent on the list.

All two port HCAs ? Are all of them the same 2 port PCIe model or are
there others ?

Can you provide:

smpquery nodedesc
smpquery nodeinfo
and most importantly
perfquery -de

for a failed node/port ?
