[openfabrics-ewg] kernel_addons patch for ipath support

Here's a patch that adds the necessary kernel_addons stuff to make the 
ipath driver work.  The changes obsolete the vnic_utsname.patch in the 
backports tree; please drop it.  The patch applies cleanly against the 
curent ofed_1_2 tree (my tip is f9fe7e94f9412f84e81c).

I'll send an updated set of driver backport patches in a little while.
