I would suggest as a goal to reduce the differences between 1.2.c and
1.2.  For example I think all the libibverbs changes needed for
connectx should be fine for an OFED 1.2 maintenance release.  And why
is libmthca different between 1.2.c and 1.2??

The ideal situation would be that 1.2.c is just 1.2.1 (or something
like that) plus libmlx4 and connectx fw tools, plus new kernel drivers.
