[ewg] OSM vendor directory

Hello,

I have a generic question:
in folder "vendor/"

There exist some osm_vendor_mlx_* files.

1. Would someone tell me what this are used for? 
2. are these unique for MLX4 devices?
3. How do they relate to osm_vendor_ibumad*.c?
