[ewg] Minutes; OFED 3.12-1 GA; IWG Logo Event

Hi all,

I have attached the minutes from the OFA EWG meeting held on 1/19/2015. It
is also available here:

Note 1: OFED 3.12-1 GA was released last Thursday 1/22/2015 and is available
here:

https://www.openfabrics.org/downloads/OFED/ofed-3.12-1/OFED-3.12-1.tgz

Note 2: The OFA IWG Logo GA event starts 1/26/2015 and will use OFED 3.12-1
GA for iWARP and IB products and OFED 3.18 for RoCE products.

1)      Send patch for Bug 2492
<http://bugs.openfabrics.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2492>  upstream to the
perftest maintainer and ask them to check out and accept the patch - in
process 

Emulex

1)      Need OFED 3.18 backports for RHEL 6.5 and 6.6 as well as for SLES
SP3

2)      Check out bug 2518
<http://bugs.openfabrics.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2518>  which still
seems to be a problem with Emulex RCAs

Intel

1)      QIB: Need OFED 3.18 backports to support RHEL 6.5 and 6.6 as well as
for SLES SP3

2)      Intel MIC: Need OFED 3.18 backports to support RHEL 6.5 and 6.6 as
well as for SLES SP3

1/19/2015

1)      Determine if the installer spits out a message if there is a missing
dependency for  libnl-devel-1.1.4-3.el7.x86_64.rpm which is needed for iwpm.

UNH-IOL

12/22/2014

1)      Test NFSoRDMA using OFED 3.18 to see if NFSoRDMA bugs have been
resolved. On hold until NFSoRDMA is fixed in 3.18 - see notes and bugs
above.
