The next EWG Meeting will be back on our regular bi-monthly slot. Since we already synced up this week we can skip Monday Jan 30th call and meet up in 2 weeks. In the meantime, please prioritize the 4.8 backports/validation so we can be ready for RC1 by next meeting. Also, please spend some time validating 3.18-3 daily build so we can also move onto RC1. I will be sending out weekly reminders and asking for status to insure we continue to make progress ahead of Feb 13th meeting. Thanks everyone, we are making good progress!

I would like to move to WebEx for future meetings. Any objections?

*        Opens:

o   Board still working "GPL only issue", promises to finalize decision by GA. Continue working dual-license and "GPL only" as need for OFED packaging.



*        OFED 3.18-3 daily build with RH 6.8 backport (Jan 26)

?  Can we target RC1 in 2 weeks, get to GA in 4 weeks?

?  Intel start validation: all components build, Xeon Phi Patch in new 1-26 build

*    Adding to automated test system (all previous OSes plus RH6.8) this week.

?  Any other company building and validating yet?



*        OFED 4.8 status (Jan 19th):

?  Can we target RC1 in early February and GA for late-March before OFA conference?

*        Please work on these cxgb3, cxgb4, nes backport issues. 2-3 weeks until RC1.

?  SRP and iSER backports are included for all of the supported OSes.

?  The new rdma_core libraries included, pre-requisites documented in release notes.
