[openib-general] [uDAPL] who should update the file /etc/dat.conf?

Hi.
 
In the gen2 driver, in the dapl folder the file dat.conf can be found.
Here is the context of this file:

who is responsible to change this file with valid data?
for example:
    local IPs
    local HCAs and valid port numbers
    
 
what is the meaning of the first word in each line (DAPL_PROVIDER?)?
