Hal:

Because, from what I have observed, the out port num is different depending
on whether the switch is in the middle or at the end of the query and hence
one may have to compute this info from either return_path, or init_path or
from the input port number(physical). 

Pardon my ignorance, but will I have access to the MAD packet in query_ah?
