A brief reminder - nominations for the position of Vice Chair will close next Monday, 6/22/2020, 72 hours prior to the Thursday Board Meeting.

Subject: [Ofa_boardplus] OFA Vice Chair vacancy, Nominations Now Open

Greetings Board of Directors,
As you know, we have a single nominee to step into the role of OFA Chair.  Since nominations for Chair are now closed, Doug Ledford will be assuming that role as of the conclusion of the June Board meeting.
That will create a vacancy at Vice Chair.
To fill that void as quickly as possible and maintain as much continuity as possible, during the June Board meeting we will also be electing a person to fill the second half of Doug's unexpired term as Vice Chair.
Therefore, consistent with OFA policy, nominations for Vice Chair are now open, and will remain open until 72 hours prior to the June Board Meeting, now scheduled for Thursday, June 25.  Please submit your nominations via email to this reflector, or send them directly to me and I will post them here on your behalf.

The timeline is as follows:
6/4 - Nominations for Vice Chair Open
6/22 - Nominations for Vice Chair Close
6/25 - Election (assuming that Vice Chair position becomes vacant - a safe bet).
