Hmm, nothing shows up at all on Android or in Thunderbird. Works OK in
gmail.

Sigh. If I look at the raw message there actually is an ical
attachment:

  I     1 <no description>                                 [multipa/alternativ, 7bit, 6.5K]
  I     2 |-><no description>                              [text/plain, quoted, iso-8859-1, 0.9K]
  I     3 |-><no description>                              [text/calendar, base64, utf-8, 5.2K]
  I     4 <no description>                                 [text/plain, 7bit, us-ascii, 0.2K]

The list software looks like it has mangled the MIME attachement
structure. MIME block #4 is the list footer. Maybe that is why some
software can't find it..
