All,

Looking at provided KFI slide deck, I'd like to make below comments. Since
I missed the last two DS/DA calls, these comments might be out of sync.
Please apologize then.

Slide 4: Avoid abbreviations like 'skts' - 'sock.' or just 'socket' is
easier to understand

Slide 5: Bullet 'Emphasis on performance and scalability'. Sub-bullets
1,2,3 appear redundant to me. Second sub-bullet 'Focus on optimizing
critical code path' seems sufficient for 'performance' target.. I suggest
adding a sub-bullet for 'scalability' target - maybe 'Minimize system
resource usage at scale'. Frankly, this bullets claims are very obvious
targets for _any_ OS communication software and I ask myself if this does
not read as simple 'blah' for maintainers and skilled sw engineers.

Slide 9: last sentence - maybe exchange 'send and receive data' with 'read
and write data' (read/write to be the more natural nomenclature to talk
about storage access?)

Here it is.  I’ve been tinkering a little bit with some graphical ideas for
slide 10, but not at all sure it’s an improvement.

I think Bernard is on vacation until the end of next week, so we might be
on our own to get something put together.  I have a few ideas I’d be
willing to contribute if you would be willing to take a first stab at it.
