[ofiwg] Will the group communication (multicast) be added back to OFI API?

Hi,

I’m new to OFI/libfabric, and is considering a way to construct collective similar communication over OFI API.
So I’m interesting about whether or not the group communication or say multicast is supported by OFI.

By initial investigation, the multicast related things were ever in OFI but be removed some days ago:

    Fixes #291 - somewhat.  The multicast interfaces have not

    been implemented, and their use in consideration with AVs

    is not clear.  Remove the multicast interfaces from the

    1.0 release.  They will be added back after 1.0, when we

    can get a clearer picture of how to integrate multicast

    operations into the APIs.


So my question is that is the planning of adding back the multicast APIs clear now? And any detailed materials can be found?
