Here are the minutes for 2 December 2022

Mike and Christian

  *   OFMF name change/name addition
     *   Current proposal: ‘Firefish’----We’ll collect name ideas.  Send ideas to Christian and Mike
  *   SC22-Post Mortem
1.    Composability was a huge topic at SC22.  Christian was part of a panel. Interesting Workshops: Exascale MPI Workshop, ‘RESDIS’ Workshop.  In addition, many companies are beginning to focus on composability.
2.    We used slide descriptions to show our current work.
3.    Phil and Elham gets ‘kudos’ for being available at the booths.

  *   Prep for the OFA Workshop and some related conferences for 2023.
·         Our current ‘hold-ups’ are getting ‘events’ into the software stack and getting an ‘OFMF-Reference’ repository going.
1.    Identify missing pieces

        *   Resource service---resource added/resource deleted/resource modified for sending out messages when events occur
           *   Michele and Christian will present a schema, next week
        *   Redfish----resource messages
           *   https://www.dmtf.org/sites/default/files/standards/documents/DSP2046_2022.2.pdf
           *   https://redfish.dmtf.org/registries/ResourceEvent.1.2.1.json
        *   Composability Manager
     *   Reference Repository----Merge the branches into a reference, branch off for testing, then merge
        *   CI/CD with Travis or Actions?
        *   Identify contributors
·         We want to be able to hold ‘composability’ demos with fabrics and endpoints by the Workshop.
·         Website work
