* Sunfish OFA webinar
* Webinar will be on October 23, at 8am Pacific Time.
* Webinar will explore OFA Sunfish - its mission, architecture and how it orchestrates disaggregated resource pools to simplify HPC and AI/ML at scale. It will show how Sunfish interacts with H3's CXL-FAM appliance, walking through an end-to-end example that previews a demo slated for SC25. It will also look at practical complexities of CXL implementation in customer environments, focusing on deploying core features such as memory sharing and switching to solve real-world scaling challenges. You'll leave with a high-level view of H3's CXL offerings and how CXL exemplifies the broader shift to disaggregated compute and memory for next-gen data centers.
* Flux NVMeoF Use Case
* Mike is still working on the CDC. Hope to get most of it done by next week.
* Mike is also working on an issue with Flux parameter passing.
* Russ has not made progress on resources updated event handling as he is busy fixing other issues.
* Demo will leverage 3 servers. One server has Sunfish server and Flux broker 0. Second server has Sunfish NVMe fabric agent and CDC. Third server is the NVMe target, with the namespaces.
* Currently, Flux resource handling is static through a file. There is a desire to make this resource handling dynamic, which Mike is looking at. The dynamic resource handling will be open source.
* CXL Use Case
* Russ will implement in Sunfish not to upload invalid Redfish objects. This should fix the issues seen with H3 hardware. Need to validate with H3 hardware.
