[Ofmfwg] Sunfish meeting notes for March 27, 2026

  *   Datacenter use case
     *   Mike share what is done in the Flux prolog on the compute nodes to ensure everything will be taken care of and to see if the job allocation flow diagram is correct. Fix an error in the job allocation flow diagram.
  *   Code changes
     *   Russ is researching what is required for background tasks. Background task is needed for Sunfish to send events to client subscribers when object is changed. Redfish supports a task service, though neither the Redfish nor Swordfish emulators have implemented task daemons. For Sunfish, we do not need a full task service. For our purposes, we can implement this using Python threads, though this will not be production grade since the tasks will not be persistent. However, for our purposes, this is sufficient.
     *   Russ is working on a pull request for the Sunfish Server to support the resources update event change in the Sunfish library that was done on Monday.
