If Eitan was porting them, he'd have them run over the OSM vendor layer.  If
you were porting them, you'd port umad.
[EZ] This is true. As I posted long ago - we plan to post an extended
version of similat tools that runs on top of OSMV. The tools are under work
but the underling layer of MADs API will be posted next week or so.
