Hi Yossi,

I was just confusing myself.  After thinking about it enough I
understand what the patches are doing.  Please go ahead and commit
them, including the duplicate LID in the receive path.

Is there some bug in OpenSM that would cause it to reassign LIDs?  I
would expect that in a 16-node cluster, a single node going down and
coming back up would not cause the whole cluster to have its LIDs
reassigned.
