	Hi Fab,

Did you have a chance to look at this problem?

Do you want me to create a patch that solves this problem in any
of the approaches?

	Thanks
	Tzachi

Subject: [Openib-windows] WSD counters don't work on
Mellanox

		Hi Fab,

I have made more experiments why we can't seem the
counters to work, and reached the following conclusions:

		1) The machine that I'm running is not a part of a
domain.
		2) when running any WSD application I always get the
following error reported:
		            [3744] 0xa3c:IBSPPmInit() !ERROR!:
SecurityDescriptor error 1337
		3) The problem stops if on the file ibsp_perfmon.h I
remove the line "(A;CIOI;GAFA;;;DA)" /* SDDL_DOMAIN_ADMIN */ \
		 from the IBSP_PM_SEC_STRING.

so my question to you is this: can you try running
without this line on a machine that is in a domain and see if things
keep working. If they don't than I guess that the simplest work around
to the problem is to try and create the string as today, and if that
fails with error 1337 than try and create them without the
SDDL_DOMAIN_ADMIN string.

		What do you think?

		Thanks
		Tzachi
