[ofw] openib-windows Build error on x86 XP using DDKC:\WINDDK\3790.1830 ?

I build the source tree on 32-bit XP all the time using the W2K3 SP1
DDK. I only do 32-bit and 64-bit W2k3 targets.

I point PLATFORM_SDK_PATH to the 8.3 name for the platform sdk, which
right at the moment looks like "C:\PROGRA~1\MIC977~1" on my system, in
long name format it looks like "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Platform
SDK". Does pointing it at the DDK actually work? The DDK and Platform
SDK are very different.

Set OPENIB_REV=614
set PLATFORM_SDK_PATH=C:\WINDDK\3790.1830

Build -wg

<snipe...>

NMAKE : warning U4006: special macro undefined : '$<'

<numerous repeats, build eventually fails as no files compiled>

Insights?

Same src tree builds fine on a Windows Server 2003 x64 system
(WS3K or XP build environments) same DDK.

An XP issue?

Thanks,

Stan.
