[ofw] Sonoma WinOF meeting minutes - May 1 2007

*	Meeting goal was to discuss and agree upon WinOF development and release procedure and follow. The suggested agenda enclosed.
	Due to the limited number of participants and time constrains we did not manage to cover that. 
	Agreed to have this discussion in the periodic meetings. 
*	Discussed how to increase WinOF community:

	*	Get more coverage on OpenFabrics home page. Erez to work with Jeff Scott (webmaster OpenFabrics web site)
	*	Get WinOF 1.0.0 release as soon as possible and post to OpenFabrics web site
	*	Avoid direct email exchange and use the mailing list to show/reflect activity
	*	MS suggested to have key customers to present Windows and IB success stories in events/conferences

*	Discussed WinOF 1.0.0 status. Agreed that WinOF 1.0.0 needs to be released ASAP
*	Discussed the current maintainers list. At this point Mellanox is the maintainer of the majority of the stack. 
	Voltaire volunteered to take ownership over IPoIB. This is the current maintainers list:

	*	
		ØMTHCA - Leonid, Mellanox 
	*	
		ØIBAL - Leonid, Mellanox 
	*	
		ØIPoIB - Anatoly, Voltaire 
	*	
		ØWSD - Tzachi, Mellanox 
	*	
		ØuDAPL - Stan, Intel 
	*	
		ØOpenSM - Eitan, Mellanox 
	*	
		ØSRP - Alex, Qlogic & Tzachi, Mellanox 

	*	
		ØInstaller - Open (Stan, Intel?)

	Voltaire will add iSER initiator to the stack (no due date given)
*	
	WHQL

	*	
		Agreed to have the WinOF package WHQL certified 
	*	
		Certification will be done by the HCA HW vendors after package was fully tested and ready to release
	*	
		Certification files (catalog files) will be placed back to the package
	*	
		Agreed that low level drivers will be branded according to the HW vendor
	*	
		Rest of the drivers will be branded as OpenFabrics

*	
	Short discussion on the missing features and priority. Partial list below, need a follow-up meeting to discuss schedule for next releases:

		Low level driver: ConnectX support, MSI-X (LH only)
	*	
		Core: RDMA-CM, Partitioning support
	*	
		IPoIB: Multicast - better handling, NDIS 6 (LH), Partitioning, DHCP bug fixes (Enable PXE), HA
	*	
		WSD: Modify ATS to IB ARP, HA
	*	
		IPoIB CM w/ HA
	*	
		SDP: Resolve licensing, move to MS SDP?
	*	
		iSER
	*	
		Luster
	*	
		SRP: HA, FMRs
	*	
		SAN boot support
