[ofw] X86 installsp.exe (svn.614) ADVAPI32.dll error?

Sorry an important detail indeed.

x86 XP Pro SP2 + latest updates.

The real points are:
     1) Is anybody actually using openib-windows 614 on XP along with
WSD?
     2) What's the XP(x86) alternative?

thanks,

stan.

What OS version are you trying to use. The platform SDK docs say
RegDeleteKeyEx is only available on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
and Windows Server 2003 SP1. I assume later OS versions also work.

When attempting to enable Winsock Direct for the x86 openib-windows
svn.614 build. Using the installsp.exe binary from
http://openib.tc.cornell.edu/downloads/binaries/1.0.0.614/net/x86/
<http://openib.tc.cornell.edu/downloads/binaries/1.0.0.614/net/x86/>

An execution of 'installsp.exe -l' generates the following notifier

Thoughts?

The file ADVAPI32.dll is present in %SystemRoot%\System32

Thanks,

Stan.
