Hi,


I think the minutes from the OpenFabrics meeting  cover it all, the only
exception is DAPL 2.0 which is not in that list. Please see:

I think that this list is quite large and we will not be able to
complete it all for WinOF 1.1. I believe we need to decide on priority
for a release in say 3-4 months (which leaves us about 2 months for
coding and one to two months for stabilization, testing, debugging and
integration).

For this time frame I think Mellanox can commit for:
1. ConnectX support
2. Adding management tools (Mellanox IBADM package)
3. Add FMR to SRP

It will be great if others can send the list of what they can implement
during this period of time.
What I think is most important is IPoIB CM and HA.

BTW: As LH (Windows server 2008) is due for the end of this year I think
we can postpone the move to WDK, unless folks feel that Vista support is
gating for this release.

In addition to your items, I have the following in my notes from the
meeting, in no particular order:
- MSI-X support in HCA driver on Windows Vista and Server 2008.
- DHCP support in IPoIB so that PXE boot can work over IB.
- Partitioning support
- Eliminate DAPL ATS and query ARP cache for WSD, and maybe DAPL too
- RDMA CM functionality
- SRP boot support
- iSCSI over IPoIB boot support
- High Availability in IPoIB (LBFO) and SRP/iSER (MPIO).

It would probably be worthwhile prioritizing these efforts, as well as
setting a timeline for the release.

  I wanted to start talking about a WinOF 1.1 feature set. From the
Sonoma IB gathering, here's what I heard.

1) IB fabric diagnostic tool support; similar to some of the
functionality available in OFED.
    We need to drill down on this to get a clearer understand of what's
needed and doable by year end.

2) Vista support.

3) DAPL 2.0 support

4) Connected mode IPoIB.
    How does this play in light of WSD & SDP?

5) Additional IB HCA hardware support?

6) What else?
