Attendees: Mellanox, Voltaire, Qlogic, Microsoft, Intel

WinOF point release (WPR):
A point release (e.g., 2.0.xx) is an interim WinOF release distributed between major WinOF releases. A WPR is intended to address critical bugs uncovered after a major WinOF release and prior to the next major WinOF release.
The point being customers should not be forced into waiting until the next major WinOF release for critical bug fixes.
WinOF releases will be digitally signed by the OpenFabrics Alliance and generated on a frequency decided by the WWG.

Vendor point releases (VPR) will be digitally signed by the respective vendor and shall not be named or advertised as a WinOF release. Advertising a VPR as based on a WinOF release is entirely permissible.
VPR are intended to address specific customer needs in those cases where a WinOF point release is not available or the WWG has chosen not to make a point release.

WinOF 2.0 code freeze is 5:00PM Pacific Daylight Time Monday Aug 25th, 2008.
