As for the second issue: Wdfcoinstaller01007 the answer is simple: use
WDK Version 6001.18001. It has a fix for the co-installers problem.
Thanks
Tzachi

Subject: [ofw] Open issues in bulding process
Hi,
I'd like to clarify/discuss/bring to your attention following
issues:
1. Digital signatures. There are several ways to sign
drivers. The signature could be taken from file, storage etc. Although
sign-drivers.bat receive a signature name as a parameter, the actual
signature is assumed to be in cse1Store. Few words of explanation about
signature location would be very helpful.
2. Wdfcoinstaller01007. I found the following in wdk
6001.18001: "If you downloaded and installed the Windows Server 2008 WDK
{Version 6001.18000} which contained the KMDF and UMDF version 1.7
installers, DO NOT DISTRIBUTE DRIVER PACKAGES WHICH CONTAIN THE 1.7
INSTALLERS." Is this taken into consideration?
3. .Inf files stamping. It would make sense to stamp files
at their source location once at the beginning of building process, or
at their final location during drivers signing when all .inf files are
gathered in folders - hca, net, storage, etc... I also noticed that not
all .inf files are copied to their locations in wix\...\bin because
makebin tries to copy .inf file from source location, where the file has
been renamed to .inx.
