I'm wasn't trying to argue here, just understand if something went wrong, or if
there was a reason for not removing the directory.  I can't look at the svn log
at the moment (behind a firewall), but if I remember correctly, it looked like
you had removed the directory, then reverted that change, and replaced it with
the patch that removed the file contents. 

In my local copy I deleted the directory.  You're correct that the generated
patch shows up as having removed the file contents.  I'm guessing that either
svn doesn't have a way to submit a patch that physically deletes a
file/directory, or I generated the patch incorrectly.

In any case, if there's a reason to keep the mt23108 directory, that's fine with
me, but my intent was to actually delete it.
