I believe that currently the problem that you see is caused because you need to install the driver manually.

So, in device manager you need to select the device, choose install driver, and point it to the directory where ibsrp.sys is.

But please pay attention to stan's message about support of srp in windows.

Thanks
Tzachi

Please see winOFED 2.3 manual w.r.t. Linux SRP target device requirements.
Bottom line, Windows SRP driver is out-of-date w.r.t. mainline Linux SRP target support; there is no active Windows SRP maintainer at this juncture.
The last known working Windows SRP client to Linux SRP target combination is:
  RHEL 5.3
  Linux OFED 1.5.1
scst-1.0.1.1 (vdisk with blockio, no kernel mods required).

Most likely your problem is a mismatch between Windows client SRP driver and Linux SRP driver (protocol version/behavior mismatch).
Sorry no immediate fix.

Stan.

Subject: [SRP SCSI Mini port driver] SCSI mini port driver can not be loaded!! WinOF 2.3 win7 x86

Hi,

This is Yahagi.

I make a SCST SRP Target Server.
And I use SRP Target from Windows Clients.

I use Windows7 Pro SP1 32bits Client with Mellanox MHQH19B-XTR, now.

I have installed WinOF 2.3 win7 x86 for the client.

After installation, the unknown device "SCST SRP Target" is there.
And OS can not match SCSI mini port driver with the device.

Please give me a some hints to solve this problem?

thx
