We've been working on fixing up install.pl in the OFED distros to build 
on later kernels for our units/customers.  Got stymied in the 3.x period 
until we found the 3.x downloads at the OFED site.

Basically we have to work to unwind some of the build business logic 
that prevents specific features/capability from being built for anything 
but specific linux distro versions.
