According to discussions at the OFA users meeting a few weeks ago,
ofa-kernel bits aren't needed for kernels newer than 3.2.0; they have
been merged upstream. We were spinning our wheels on similar issues
until Ira told me that. The mellanox OFED may be a different story,
but I'm not sure about that.
