Subject: [ewg] OFA Zurich Workshop at IBM Research Sept 24, 25

Dear Fellow Member of OFA and Linux RDMA community,

Please forward on to your colleagues, prospects and customers in EMEIA and
headquarters in US the invitation in " " below as well as attend yourselves
if possible. If you'd like to lead a session please email me.

Thank you,

Bill.

"Please consider participating in this workshop given by the OpenFabrics
Alliance (OFA) open source community for its developers, providers and users
to learn of new features in our RDMA software (OFS/OFED), improved
distribution with Linux and Windows, share implementation and operations
experience, and join the newly created worldwide users list at
http://lists.openfabrics.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo .

Go to www.openfabrics.org to learn the goals, agenda, registration, travel
and hotel information.

The OFA's RDMA software (OFS), following its highly successful deployment
amongst the worldwide HPC user and vendor community, is now gaining
widespread recognition and adoption in Enterprise, Web and Cloud Data Center
infrastructures. Implementation of RDMA offers the potential to speed up
obtaining results, reduce CPU utilization and enable unlimited scalability
of computing, fabric and storage for Big Data and Analytic Applications,
both locally and across global distances.

The OFA recognizes the scope and range of APIs (e.g. MPIs, Sockets, Tools,
etc.), OS, network/fabric, storage and file system uses and applications in
which IT professionals and system administrators are deploying OFS/OFED. The
Alliance believes that an active connected community of subject matter
leaders/experts and users worldwide can significantly enhance learning,
collaboration, experience and guidance by sharing information at workshops
like this first one for the Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and India
regions.

We look forward to you and your colleagues joining us at IBM's Zurich
Research Laboratory on September 24, 25 2012. Please contact Bill or Ronald
below directly for more information and to become a leader of a
subject/session at the workshop.
