Hi:

Is it possible to let us know what is working/included in IBED RC3 and what is not? It may be a good idea to include a small release note.

Thanks
Karun

Hi,

There is no point to check SDP now. We released that the SDP code in OF is not good enough, not stable and has many races. Michael Tsirkin is recoding some parts of it. We anticipate that within 2 weeks the code will stabilize and we'll post it.

Regards,
   Aviram

When these kinds of problems happen to me, I start by debugging with strace, to make sure both netserver and netperf are using SDP.

Hi

Yes, netserver was restarted with libsdp. I didn't get any error there.
I face same issue even if i use the default config (libsdp.conf) . Netserver was started using default libsdp.conf.
For netperf, initially i used default libsdp.conf file but when it didn't worked i changed it as mentioned in my previous mail.

Attached below is the output from netserver machine.

Thanks
Karun

#################################################################
[st44 Tue Apr 11 15:21:38]# export LD_LIBRARY=/usr/local/ibed/lib/libsdp.so
[st44 Tue Apr 11 15:21:59]# export LIBSDP_CONFIG_FILE=/usr/local/ibed/etc/libsdp.conf netserver
[st44 Tue Apr 11 15:22:30]# netserver
Starting netserver at port 12865
Starting netserver at hostname 0.0.0.0 port 12865 and family AF_UNSPEC

Did you restart netserver w/libsdp, too?

What happens when you use libsdp.so with the default libsdp.conf config?

Scott

Hi:

I am trying to measure SDP throughput using netperf. But as soon as i enable SDP for netperf, my netperf is not able to establish a connection. In my libsdp.conf file, i have included following

match destination 172.26.16.44/24
match listen *
match program *

Please let me know if i missed out something.

Attached below is the output. Initially without SDP, netperf was working fine. Then I enabled sdp and after that my netperf doesn't work.

Thanks
Karun
