RXM is RDM endpoint support over MSG endpoints.  It's still in development and not usable at all, AFAIK.  It will eventually be documented.

FWIW, there will be other layered providers that will follow the same naming convention.  E.g. RXD will be RDM over DGRAM, MXD will be MSG over DGRAM, etc.

These are all part of what we're referring to as the 'utility' provider, which aim to add more features over what a native provider supports.
