The small Bylaws team has finished its work on creating a complete draft of the new Bylaws.  I will post it shortly.  We should plan to have an XWG meeting next week, 10/10, to begin a discussion of the new draft.

The new draft will also be discussed formally at the October 17 Board meeting.  Topics to be discussed may include, but are not limited to:

  *   The sequence of events / next steps for the document - legal review before Board vote?  Board vote then legal review?
  *   Any issues related to the text of the document.

This email is official notice that one or more motions directly related to the Bylaws or the process for ratifying the Bylaws may be entertained during the Board meeting, regardless of whether an official motion has been posted or not.
