* Open: 
    Shi (AWS) gave a brief introduction on some proposed changes to the fi_counter API, which would allow
    counters to be allocated in external memory and maximum value of counter to be exposed. The goal is 
    to facilitate offloading counter to NIC and supporting GDA.  A presentation is scheduled for the next 
    meeting.

* Coverity issue update: 
    Coverity scan had been failing since early November last year. Coverity technical support found out the 
    issue was due to the "Description" field of the job submission exceeding 512-character limit. Fixed now. 
    Encourage provider owners to check the latest scanning results and fix issues.

* 2026 release plan: 
    maintains quarterly release cadence, with 2.5.0, 2.6.0, 2.7., 2.8.0 scheduled for March, June, September, 
    and December. As usual, RC will be on the first day of the month, and GA on 15th. Bug fix releases are
    on demand only. Backporting guideline: up to three releases.
