It is odd that the physical state is “disabled”… What are the kernel versions for Ubuntu (not working) and CentOS (working; also what is the OFED version)?

Could you run this script from OFED after the driver is loaded?

http://git.openfabrics.org/git?p=compat-rdma/compat-rdma.git;a=blob;f=ofed_scripts/truescale.cmds;h=0f445fe75c1e57650c028d7c8ea6304acaf195d6;hb=master

run:

$ truescale.cmds start

This is run after driver load in openibd in OFED. See:

http://git.openfabrics.org/git?p=compat-rdma/compat-rdma.git;a=blob;f=ofed_scripts/openibd;h=9be5af44287c7b202af211a419cbc70c6f3d7ba1;hb=master

Hope this helps,
Ira
