[Ofa_boardplus] Voteable items for Thursday's OFA Board Meeting

The following two motions are offered for action at this Thursday's Board meeting.  The intention is to continue advancing the process of developing a new draft of the Bylaws, even though each of the attached is considered provisional.  These have been discussed at recent XWG meetings and thus are not new motions.

Item 1: Cray moves that the Board accept the attached provisional text (file name Article_1_Offices_PG_2019_0411) for Article 1: Offices with the following caveats:

  1.  This text is presented to the Board consistent with the process described on 1/17/19 and updated on 1/31/19.
  2.  This text is considered provisional until a vote has been taken, following final legal and Promoter review, to accept the final draft of the Bylaws.
  3.  Specifically, it is understood that some iteration of this Article may be required as additional Articles are presented for review or as a result of Promoter or legal review.

Item 2: Cray moves that the Board accept the attached provisional text (file name Article_5_Working_Groups_2019_0411_JLB) for Article 5: Working Groups with the following caveats:

  1.  This text is presented to the Board consistent with the process described on 1/17/19 and updated on 1/31/19.
  2.  This text is considered provisional until a vote has been taken, following final legal and Promoter review, to accept the final draft of the Bylaws.
  3.  Specifically, it is understood that some iteration of this Article may be required as additional Articles are presented for review or as a result of Promoter or legal review.
